Senegal are into their second consecutive AFCON final after beating Burkina Faso 3-1 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
Burkina Faso started the game on the front foot as Bertrand Traore fought hard to break Senegal's stubborn defence but could not find a way through in the opening stages.
Senegal were awarded a penalty just before half-time after the referee deemed Edmond Tapsoba to handle the ball, but that was soon overturned after a review on the pitch side monitor and the first half ended goalless.
Abdou Diallo opened the scoring in the 70th minute after poking the ball home from a corner and Gueye doubled Senegal's lead six minutes later after Sadio Mane stole the ball from Burkinabe centre-back Issoufou Dayo and squared the ball to the midfielder to score.
Burkina Faso fought back yet again as Biati Toure scored with his knee in the 82nd minute.
But Mane sealed Senegal's place in the final three minutes from time as Burkina Faso committed many bodies forward for the equaliser.
Senegal will play either Cameroon or Egypt in the final while Burkina Faso will face the loser of the other semi-final in a third-place play-off. Both matches will take place on Sunday, 6th February.

Senegal are into their second consecutive AFCON final after overwhelming a brave Burkina Faso side!
While the Burkinabe story ends here, they will leave the tournament with their heads held high after some truly inspiring performances.
Senegal, though, were buoyed by Sadio Mane who dragged them into last two.

87' – The Burkinabe players and coaches have all suddenly found an energy reserve they didn't know they had and Senegal were firmly camped outside their own box.
But when you have Mane ready to run in behind on the counter, you always stand a chance of scoring. Clean through on goal, the Liverpool forward has all but sealed Senegal's place in the final by lifting the ball home.

82' – WOW! Blati Toure finishes with his knee to revive Burkina Faso's hopes of making it to the finals!
No wonder Mendy was rooted to the spot!

76' – After Burkina Faso won the ball high on multiple occasions and failed to make it count, Mane steals the ball from centre-back Dayo and plays it to Dieng who doubles Senegal's lead.
Gutting for Burkina Faso who fought so hard in the first half, but Senegal deserve their two-goal lead.
Just over ten minutes plus added time for Burkina Faso to make this interesting.

73' – Even before Senegal's opener, Burkina Faso had retreated into their shells slightly and attacks began to look increasingly disjointed.

70' – A bit of pinball after a corner isn't cleared but Diallo pokes the ball home in the six-yard box.
Deserved goal for Senegal who have grown into the game in the second half.

65' – The Watford winger replaces Diedhiou.
Pape Gueye also comes on for Kouyate.

56' – A long ball in behind Senegal's defence looked as though it would be picked up by Mendy, but the keeper did not come out and Traore latched onto it.
But, in trying to get the ball onto his favoured left foot, Koulibaly got a vital touch before Traore could pull the trigger and denied what could have been the clearest shooting opportunity of the game so far.
Senegal steadily gaining control in this one.

52' – Burkina Faso are winning the ball high up but can't punish Senegal when they try to get forward.
A few passes have gone astray after they pinch possession off Senegalese defenders.

46' – Burkina Faso still looking to catch Senegal on the counter.
Nice game of cat and mouse unfolding.

An entertaining half of football but no goals just yet.
Burkina Faso threatened for large parts of the first 45 but Senegal grew into the game as Sadio Mane found more space.
Expect the tempo of this one to rise again in the second half!
February 2, 2022 at 2:56 PM EST
45+6' – Mane receives the ball in the box, takes a touch and rasps a left-footed shot which Ouedraogo saved.
Minutes later, Idrissa Gueye's strike on the edge of the box hit Tapsoba and the referee gave a penalty for handball and booked the defender.
After being advised to go to the pitch side monitor, the referee overturned the decision and rescinded the yellow card.
February 2, 2022 at 2:51 PM EST
45+5' – Mane goes on a marauding run down the left flank and sends a looping cross into the box which Burkina Faso struggle to deal with.
The ball falls to Dieng who smashes his shot way over the bar with teammates in better options.
February 2, 2022 at 2:47 PM EST
45' – The game started a bit like a basketball match but has gradually wound down in intensity before the break.
Six minutes added on after the stoppages but it doesn't look like there will be a goal in this before the interval.
February 2, 2022 at 2:39 PM EST
38' – Senegal haven't had as much of the ball in dangerous areas as they might like, and that's because Burkina Faso have defended so well.
Since play has resumed, they have added some speed in their passing and are able to win the ball back quickly after losing it.
Bande touches down Tapsoba's long ball forward for Traore who shoots but the rebound falls back to Bande who forces a save from Mendy.
The underdogs are not playing like underdogs.
February 2, 2022 at 2:36 PM EST
33' – The referee was advised to go to the monitor and no penalty is given!
Contrary to what it looked like a few minutes ago, Burkina Faso keeper Koffi has now been stretchered off and Farid comes on in his place while Kouyate remains on the pitch.
February 2, 2022 at 2:31 PM EST
30' – A long ball is sent into Burkina Faso's box and Koffi comes charging out to punch but does not see Kouyate challenging for a header and the pair collide in the air.
Kouyate leaves the field on a stretcher but Koffi looks like he will be able to continue.
Meanwhile, Mendy is using the stoppage of play to ice his face from his earlier collision.
February 2, 2022 at 2:28 PM EST
27' – Ciss floats a teasing cross into the box and Dieng gets ahead of Tapsoba to win the header but his effort whistles past the post as Koffi scrambled.
